Data Scientist Manager

YOUR TASKS

• Lead and manage Data Science team on projects across various industries and sectors, ensuring their effective delivery
• Work as a People Manager and support growth of team members
• Develop end-to-end data science solutions using machine learning frameworks and big data technologies (e.g. Python/Databricks/Spark)
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to data science staff, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
• Take part in innovative transformation projects and apply state-of-the-art technologies
• Participate in initiatives and sales offerings in the data science field
• Conduct presentations and workshops, present results and actively help shape solutions for our clients

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 5 years of experience in the data science domain
• At least 2 years of experience as People Manager/Team Leader that is responsible for team development and growth
• Extensive communications skills (English is a must, German or Polish are a plus) appreciating working closely with international clients (travelling across Europe might be required)
• Ability to translate complex technical aspects into business language
• Practical experience with statistical methods , Machine Learning and GenAI
• Strong coding skills in Python
• Experience working agile with Git, CI/CD, multi-services, MLOps
• Experience with at least one cloud computing platform
• Comfortable working in complex, continuously moving environment with confidence and minimum guidance
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Sales experience is a plus
