Managing junior data scientist responsible for: discovering sets of unique genomic sequences for PCR-based detection and differentiation of diverse taxa and genetic traits, Designing primers and probes with specific properties compatible with a unique, fast diagnostic system, Modifying and optimizing primer/probe combinations based on experimental results and literature.
Analyzing multiplex PCR reactions using NGS data, including qualitative and quantitative analysis of amplicons.
Presenting bioinformatic analysis results to non-professionals.
requirements-expected :
Academic training in statistics, computer science or mathematics or similar quantitative field with 6+ years of experience
Exceptional practical knowledge of computational and statistical methods, including big data applications.
Good understanding of nucleic acid-related biological, chemical, and physical processes.
At least 3 years of professional experience in nucleic acid sequence analysis, including searching public repositories, NGS data analysis, and custom analysis pipelines.
Experience with Debian-based Linux systems and command line tools.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse team members.
Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
