For our client, the global leader in eye care, specializing in developing, manufacturing, and marketing surgical equipment, contact lenses, and vision care products we are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join in, bringing expertise in machine learning and data-driven solutions tailored to commercial and retail domains. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and SQL, along with hands-on experience delivering end-to-end ML projects within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end machine learning projects , from data exploration and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs), Data Engineers (DEs), and DevOps to build scalable and impactful data science solutions.
• Apply a variety of machine learning models and techniques to address commercial problems such as demand forecasting, customer segmentation, targeting, pricing, and promotion optimization.
• Translate business problems into analytical tasks, clearly communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality, reproducibility, and performance of models in production environments.

And if you possess...

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data science or machine learning roles, preferably in commercial or retail domains.
• Strong programming skills in Python and good working knowledge of SQL .
• Proven experience applying a wide range of ML techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting, model evaluation & selection).
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of data science projects within a collaborative team structure.
• Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and ability to translate data insights into business impact.
