Your future team:

You will join our “Factory of the Future” team of specialists within Group R&D. We are a team of passionate, skilled and knowledgeable colleagues who develop & implement the newest technologies for stone wool production. The “Factory of the Future” team is recently established with the aim of upgrading our production facilities with best-in-class OT & IT Solutions. We are proud to be world leaders in our industry, and we work hard to stay in this position.



We’re currently building the Data Science Team and you would be a part of it.



What you will be doing:

  1. Analyze industrial data to uncover insights from sensor data to improve automation.
  2. Design machine learning models for predictive maintenance or process optimization.
  3. Test and refine machine learning models for optimal industrial impact.
  4. Translate complex data findings for actionable business decisions.
  5. Collaborate with the R&D team partnering with engineers to integrate data science solutions into the production world.
What you bring:
  1. 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field preferably for the production industry.
  2. Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, engineering).
  3. Understanding of IT/OT convergence (optional, but a plus).
  4. Strong foundation in statistics and probability.
  5. Expertise in data analysis techniques (hypothesis testing, regression analysis, etc.).
  6. Experience with data visualization tools (Grafana, Power BI).
  7. Proficiency in data wrangling and manipulation libraries (pandas, NumPy).
  8. Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Tools and Technologies:
  1. Statistical programming languages (Python).
  2. Data analysis libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
  3. Data visualization tools (Grafana, Power BI).
  4. Machine learning libraries (optional, but a plus).
