The project focuses on developing predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions for the UK automotive market. It leverages extensive datasets on vehicles and dealership service transactions to deliver impactful business products. These solutions are aimed at forecasting market trends, optimizing operations, and empowering data-driven decision-making.
responsibilities :
Design and manage data ontologies for vehicle and service information, ensuring coherent frameworks for data categorization and relationship mapping
Build predictive and prescriptive models (ML/AI) and analytical solutions to support trend forecasting and guide business decisions — such as forecasting service demand or optimizing inventory management
Perform in-depth analyses of large-scale datasets and design experiments (including A/B testing and statistical evaluations) to uncover actionable insights and enhance product performance and decision-making
Partner with the data engineering team to architect and refine data pipelines, maintaining high data quality, efficient data processing, and smooth deployment of models to production environments (leveraging SQL, dbt, and Big Data technologies)
requirements-expected :
1–3 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a closely related field
Proficiency in SQL and Python (including pandas and scikit-learn); familiarity with ETL or data pipeline frameworks such as dbt is advantageous
Practical experience in statistical analysis and experimental methodologies (e.g., A/B testing)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating complex business challenges into actionable, data-driven insights
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Naturally curious and passionate about exploring complex datasets and eager to deepen understanding of the automotive sector

At first, this role will be remote. After the office in Gdańsk opens, you will move to a hybrid setup, working from the office 1–2 days a week.
