We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a project that were developing for one of our key industrial clients. The role is primarily remote, but occasional on-site meetings in Helsinki will be required to stay aligned with the project team and stakeholders.

• Position: Data Scientist - min 5 years of experience
• Allocation: Full-time (100%)
• Location: Remote, with occasional visits to the customer’s office in Finland
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Duration: Until the end of 2025 + possible extension for next 12 months

• Predictive analytics and forecasting models 
• Time series analysis and modeling 
• Working with AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Development and deployment of machine learning models MLOps practices, including model versioning, monitoring, and scaling in production environments 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and experience with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn). 
• Expertise in using Databricks for data science workflows, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation. 
• Previous experience working in remote-first setups and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Engineers, DevOps) would be highly beneficial.
• 5+ years epierience.
