F-Secure is all about cyber security, but being the best in the field requires a wide variety of different skillsets. In the Security Research and Technologies department, we work on things ranging from low-level kernel drivers to artificial intelligence. We are a diverse bunch, but we all have one thing in common - what we do is meaningful and impactful.

We are looking for the right person to join the team in our Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence (AICE). Youll be working on a unique set of data collected by our security software. The aim is to take threat detection to the next level by adding artificial intelligence capabilities across F-Secure cyber security solutions, along with solving many other interesting data-related problems.

The AICE team is comprised of experts in big data technologies, statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, complemented by the strong foundation of cyber security inherent in the F-Secure DNA. Would you like to be the next Fellow to join this exceptional team?

What We Expect You to Bring:

1. Research or industry experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
2. Leadership ability.
3. Pragmatic mindset and ability to evolve ideas into practical implementations.
4. A strong mathematical background and M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Information Science, Computer Science, or Data Science (or other relevant field).
5. Solid understanding of the usage, implementation, and theory of relevant algorithms such as regression models, neural networks, clustering, and classification.
6. Experience with relevant programming languages, such as Python, R, Scala, Java.
7. Knowledge of data science tooling such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, PySpark, Tensorflow, PyTorch.
8. Familiarity with AWS cloud solutions will be definitely a plus.
