Job Description:

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

This position has a strong focus on defining and establishing the technical foundation to successfully run data visualization and data science projects as well as enabling global dashboarding on harmonized data.

• Act as in-house consultant in data visualization area. Provide best practices, educate and coach different levels of organizations on the topic.
• Support advanced analytical platform development, promote and educate the organization regarding its possibilities and capabilities.
• Create proof of concept of selected visualization and analytical cockpits.
• Create proof of concept of selected advanced analytics solutions in one of the ETL tools.
• Provide support to the organization regarding data visualization/analytical tools and processes.
• Define and co-create data visualization processes, environment, and rules to enable the organization’s successful data visualization journey.
• Act as an ambassador of IBCS (International Business Communication Standards) in the area of Data Visualization, promoting its values and principles.
• Develop and run proofs-of-concept, new solutions, and prototypes in the area of data science in general to help illustrate approaches to technology and business problems.

What You Need to Succeed

• Experienced in one of the BI data visualization and analytical tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Proficient in English written and spoken.
• Experience with ETL tools such as KNIME or Alteryx.
• Experience with SQL and database design.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Very good communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with ERP class systems.
• Knowledge of SAP systems such as ECC and CRM.
• Knowledge of common data mining algorithms and their respective applications.
• Programming skills in R, Python, and/or MATLAB.

That position may require travel depending on business needs (up to 10%).
