Candidate Profile
- Proactive, detail-oriented Data Protection Manager (DPM) with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience in conducting data privacy compliance audits and producing audit reports with actionable recommendations.
- Passionate about learning new data protection skills within a life science environment; ability to work independently and escalation when needed.
- Experience with trial life cycles in phases 1, 2, or 3 is highly advantageous.
- Capability to manage a diverse range of data protection responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable with remote work and occasional travel (monthly visits to client sites and possibility of UK travel). All travel expenses are reimbursed.
- Open, forward‑thinking mindset regarding emerging technologies, including responsible use of AI to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to building the overall knowledge base of the DPO Centre’s team.
- Implement the DPO Centre’s established processes and practices.
- Stay updated on the latest data protection regulations and trends.
- Collaborate with senior team members on prioritisation and task completion.
- Support the DPO‑as‑a‑Service (DPOaaS) team by assisting with any workload, specifically focusing on DPO delegated tasks.
- Assist and implement strategies to ensure organisations’ compliance with data protection regulation.
- Under DPO guidance, consistently inform and advise clients on governance, accountability and risk.
- Perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Draft and review Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), Redraft terms of Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), conduct Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs) and Transfer Risk/Transfer Impact Assessments (TRA/TIA).
- Advise on data breach procedures, responses and remediations.
- Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining data protection policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and deliver training and guidance on best data protection practices to employees.
- Help deliver supporting service streams such as DSAR, advice line and school workstreams.
- Produce consultancy projects, including audits, reports and remediation tasks under senior DPO guidance, focusing on value delivery to clients.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in Data Protection, Information Governance or related field.
- Good knowledge of EU & UK GDPR.
- Fluency in English at C1 level; additional EU language skills are a plus.
- Strong emotional intelligence, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills: full Microsoft Office suite, highly organised, structured and detail‑oriented.
- Knowledge of IT and cyber security, ISO certifications, and experience with AI governance are advantageous.

- Gross salary: 10 500 PLN per month, depending on experience.
