We’re expanding and seeking a Data SME / Product Owner to join our OBKYC Technology team (UK-based, global collaboration). This role focuses on data mastering—enabling data-driven transformation across services, not just managing a specific product.
responsibilities :
Understand and improve how we collect and use customer data across systems.
Develop a strategic vision for data services aligned with business needs.
Build and manage product backlogs, MVPs, and delivery roadmaps.
Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technology, and architecture.
Use OKRs, KPIs, and financial data to drive data product decisions and outcomes.
Ensure compliance, governance, and risk controls around data handling.
Support both ongoing business needs and transformation initiatives.

Strong experience as a Product Owner/Manager in data, onboarding, or KYC/CDD contexts.
Background in technical roles involving systems integration or data architecture.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Agile mindset with ability to prioritise, challenge thinking, and work in ambiguity.
Experience using financial metrics to drive product strategy and commercial value.
Familiarity with regulated environments and governance standards.
