As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that support the organization’s data needs. You will work with various stakeholders to develop and maintain data models for OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) systems, with a focus on Oracle and MySQL databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling: Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for OLTP systems using Oracle and MySQL. Ensure data models meet business requirements and performance expectations.
• Database Design: Create and maintain database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to optimize performance and data integrity.
• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, and translate them into effective data models.
• Data Integration: Support data integration efforts by designing data models that facilitate data movement and transformation between different systems and platforms.
• Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize data models and database structures to enhance query performance and system efficiency.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and design specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct data quality assessments and audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with database administrators, developers, and other team members to ensure data models are effectively implemented and maintained.
• Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to data modeling and database management.
