Plan, develop, monitor, and maintain data migration workflows customized to meet diverse client requirements.
Design migration approaches, develop strategies, and prepare detailed technical documentation.
Build, test, and execute data migration processes using tools such as AWS, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Python, batch scripts, and PostgreSQL.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues throughout the migration lifecycle, providing technical assistance as needed.
Perform rigorous testing to ensure migrated data aligns accurately with client specifications.
Document migration projects thoroughly to support ongoing and future initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline migration processes.
Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with meticulous attention to detail.
Maintain continuous communication with clients, from gathering business requirements through to final data transfer oversight.

2-3 years of practical experience in data migration projects.
At least 1 year of experience in client-facing roles is preferred.
3-4 years of experience working with data using SQL and related tools (e.g., CSV, Excel, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Strong object-oriented programming skills.
Experience with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
Solid understanding of the data migration lifecycle (Development, QA, Production).
Strong commitment to thorough documentation and organization.
Logical and analytical problem-solving skills.
Ability to independently address complex challenges.
Self-management skills to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow complex instructions.
