Join a global team responsible for the operational management of DataVisa, a tool supporting mandatory data privacy controls such as Internal and External Data Transfers, Privacy Impact Assessments, and Records of Processing. The centralised utility aims to deliver faster, simpler, and more efficient results, reducing duplication of work across global businesses and functions, minimising data privacy risks, and driving adherence to global data management policies. The role contributes to increasing customer trust and the value of customer data within the organisation.
responsibilities :
Guide business users across multiple markets and functions in using DataVisa, ensuring accurate case input to meet controls.
Perform privacy assessments of operational processes, identifying and mitigating risks through effective tools, training, and guidance.
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure data privacy initiatives are understood and implemented.
Grow awareness and knowledge of data privacy and evolving laws and regulations within the organisation’s operations.
Act as a subject matter expert on data privacy and protection law globally, working with Legal Data Privacy and Regulatory Compliance teams.
Assist in developing, managing, and maintaining data standards, policies, and methodologies in line with Group Data Privacy Policy.
Develop and administer guidance, training, and educational materials.
Identify areas for improvement in local practices related to data privacy management.
Support the development and delivery of data privacy and protection controls based on data policies to ensure compliant use of data.
Stay up to date with legislative requirements, conduct gap analyses, and help build remedial work programmes.
Work with stakeholders to plan future data privacy needs and ensure adherence to global scope.
