Data Engineer with Snowflake and DBT – pharmaceutical industry

Join the project for one of the largest pharmaceutical companies. The role works closely with AI scientists and data analysts to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and systems that support clinical and operational data use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and systems.
• Build efficient data pipelines that handle large amounts of data in real‑time.
• Collaborate with AI scientists and data analysts to gather and analyze business requirements and ensure data solutions align with business needs.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse and ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Implement data security, data privacy, and compliance measures.
• Perform data analysis, troubleshoot data issues, and provide technical support to end‑users.
• Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with a programming language focused on data pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflakes SQL syntax and capabilities.
• Technical expertise with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes (Data Vault).
• Familiarity with data integration tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data requirements.
• Ability to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues in a cloud‑based environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
