We are looking for a Data Engineer who is technically passionate, solution-focused, and able to contribute to the design and development of a Data Warehouse. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your career, we encourage you to apply for this position.

We are looking for you, if you:

• have experience with data modelling and data integration, building and managing dashboards in Power BI (min. 3 years)
• have knowledge of Cloud environment and data analytics on Cloud (Azure preferably) and you are cloud focused
• have a basic knowledge of Windows Server management with regards to patching, compliance monitoring, handling vulnerabilities, and performance issues
• have MSSQL knowledge, being able to monitor performance metrics, tuning performance of processes
• have Azure DevOps experience (Repos, Pipelines)
• can design and implement data pipelines, data models, and data integration solutions
• are a dedicated team player with particularly effective communication skills
• can communicate in English, verbally and in writing

Youll get extra points for:

• You have PowerShell knowledge to be able to manage headless servers
• You can process data and transform large data sets
• You can identify ways of improving the data quality and efficiency
• You can solve complex problems and look for clues in data hidden across systems
• You understand how event-driven solutions and asynchronous communication works
• You have basic knowledge of Python, Transact SQL
• You have experience in Agile (ex. Scrum methodology)

You will be responsible for:

• development and administration of BI tools (build automated reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools)
• creating business requirements to define functional specifications for reporting applications
• shaping data into reporting and analytics solutions
• attending meetings (Scrum events)

Information about the squad:

The team is responsible for the design, modification, and maintenance of the Data Warehouse and Power BI platform. Our product is dedicated to the ING engineers and provides data insights for the ING group. Being part of our team means that you will actively maintain the current platform and create dashboards in Power BI. You will also be part of the discussion about innovating our product. After office hours, our team enjoys board games, visits to escape rooms, and pizza, which we also share during office hours.
