We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and help design and build scalable Data Hubs supporting analytical, reporting, operational, and Generative AI use cases. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, offering the opportunity to shape best practices, mentor fellow engineers, and ensure delivery of robust and scalable data solutions.
responsibilities :
Designing and implementing scalable Data Hubs, integrating diverse data sources
Defining and enforcing standards, best practices, and architecture patterns across teams
Mentoring data engineers and guiding technical decisions through code reviews and strategic input
Building robust batch and real-time data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Spark
Implementing monitoring, data validation, and anomaly detection mechanisms
Automating infrastructure and deployment workflows with CI/CD tools
requirements-expected :
Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or backend development
Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL for data processing and automation
Deep understanding of Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
Proficiency in the Azure Data Stack, including Data Factory, ADLS, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Event Hubs
Experience with streaming data and real-time analytics solutions
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively within engineering teams
Fluent Polish required
Residing in Poland required
