We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be strong in SQL and Python. Understand financial and operational business metrics and have excellent communication skills in English. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, facilitating smooth data operations for key value creation projects, business intelligence and analytical needs.
This position is for a three-year transformation plan, supporting key value creation opportunities from the value creation program. You will be working together with a Data Analyst and stakeholders to support data needs for key projects across the business, such as pricing engine, report automation projects, and more. You will be responsible for your own backlog, while still working closely with our existing data engineering teams to ensure alignment and support.
responsibilities :
Investigate and understand which data is needed for various use cases and ensure we create a fitting data model in Snowflake.
Develop and maintain ETL data pipelines, using SQL and sometimes Python, in DBT and Airflow to transform raw data from multiple sources into structured datasets aligned with business logic.
Prepare datasets for Data Analysts and Power BI developers for use in Power BI and other analytical tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

Proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize execution plans.
Real life experience in developing and managing data pipelines, preferably using Airflow and DBT.
Strong experience in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
Excellent English communication skills.
