Avenga is looking for a Data Engineer for one of our clients in the automotive industry to support the following prioritized initiatives in Wave 1: Early Defect Detection AI-driven root cause analysis Quality Copilot The Data Engineer will work on applications to develop features, support internal users, and address business-critical processes by resolving maintenance and data quality issues. The role also involves ensuring the efficient operation of the organization's systems and contributing to overall data integrity. Requirements: Data Engineering has been your world for at least 4-5 years Cloud service platform expertise: Azure Proven experience with large Databases and Data Warehouses Expertise in Databricks: Delta Tables, DLT, Unity Catalog, performance tuning, etc. Good knowledge in Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault Knowledge of modern Data Modeling and Design concepts Ability to design simplified E2E Azure solution architecture Knowledge of Power BI (Fabric) will be a strong benefit Nice to have: experience in on-prem to cloud migration project Familiarity with authentication mechanisms in Azure Ability to use Version Control (Git) with Azure DevOps Soft skills: Capacity to work in an international environment using English Team player - having a sharing and collaborative mindset Takes ownership at work Agile - flexibility to execute available tasks in a rapidly changing environment
