We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our Site Service Data & Insights (SSDI) DataOne project. The role involves ingesting data from source systems using technologies such as Python and Talend, modeling data following the Data Vault methodology.

Data Engineer - BI Reporting with Tableau / Thoughtspot

Your responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Transformation: Ingest data from source systems, model data using Data Vault methodology, and transform data for business use.
• Data Visualization: Develop dashboards based on DP schema, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders’ expectations. Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes and logic.
• Agile Methodology: Participate in SSDI Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective meetings. Estimate task efforts, select tasks to work on, present completed work to stakeholders, and gather feedback.
• Technical Expertise: Understand the DataOne technology landscape and utilize tools that align with SSDI’s long-term goals.

Our requirements

• Experience in data analysis using tools such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, or Grafana.
• Strong SQL and dbt experience for data transformation.
• Stakeholder management for individual dashboards, including consulting and proactive engagement.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and other RDBMS solutions, GitLab, dbt, and Tableau.
• Experience with governance tools such as Collibra and Monte Carlo.
• Knowledge of Data Vault 2.0 modeling methodology.
• Proficiency in Python, Talend, and ThoughtSpot is a plus.
