Your responsibilities

  • You’ll be using state-of-the-art tools and technologies in the Azure Cloud
  • You’ll own your work and decide on the project’s direction
  • You’ll be improving the data availability by acting as a liaison between analytics and IT teams
  • You’ll be joining a team of other customer focused, Data Analaysts and Data Engineers to drive one of the most exciting product on the Polish Insurance market

Our requirements

  • Commercial experience in building Data or Analytics Platforms in the Cloud
  • Practical knowledge of open-source Big Data tools (e.g. Kafka, Airflow, Presto and Spark)
  • +3 years of programming experience (we mostly use Python, but experience with Java/Scala and willingness to learn Python is ok too)
  • Experience in database development and data model design
  • Solid business and collaboration skills, and responsive to service needs and operational demands
  • Understanding of the principles of Agile and Scrum (we work in Scrum by the way)

Optional

  • Data analysis and preparation skills, including experience with large data sets and unstructured data
  • Practical knowledge of Databricks platform and BI Tools
  • DevOps and Kubernetes skills
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture
  • Enthusiastic approach to coffee breaks (we love informal discussions with a cup of favourite coffee or tea)
