We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Clients behalf for a person in the following role:

Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Responsibility for data ingest, refinement and presentation - design, development, testing, coding, and deploying to production
2. Operating and iterating a cloud data platform capability to support our internal goals
3. Focus on quality, time and budget constraints
4. Communicating efficiently within the team and business stakeholders
5. Working with global diverse teams
6. Working in an Agile product-oriented culture

Requirements:

1. Experience of data engineering, ETL, streaming
2. At least 7 years of professional experience in SQL
3. Experience in GCP, Big Query
4. Experience of data modelling
5. Experience making trade-offs when designing schemas and marts
6. Experience with implementing automated data quality solutions
7. Experience in orchestration and scheduling
8. Experience working in a DevOps environment, i.e. think, build, and run
9. Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery
