responsibilities :
Designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines for ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics
Leveraging Google Cloud tools like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, and Data Fusion
Implementing data validation and monitoring using tools like Great Expectations and logging/monitoring solutions
Preparing, transforming, and combining raw data from multiple sources for advanced analytics
Conducting complex data analysis and reporting key findings
Building efficient data systems to support prescriptive and predictive modeling
Enhancing data quality, reliability, and discoverability across the stack
Identifying and integrating new data sources
Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and architects across diverse projects
requirements-expected :
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, ideally within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Expertise in BigQuery (data warehouse), Cloud Storage (data lakes), and Cloud Spanner (data processing)
Experience with GCP-native tools like Data Fusion, BigQuery APIs, and Cloud Storage APIs
Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with Apache Airflow (via Cloud Composer)
Familiarity with batch and streaming ingestion techniques
Knowledge of BigQuery optimization, federated queries, and partitioning strategies
Understanding of metadata and pipeline management using Datahub or similar tools
Strong foundation in data modeling (lake/warehouse), data mining, and segmentation
Hands-on experience with SQL database design and Java/Python programming
Great analytical and problem-solving skills
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master’s a plus)
Google Cloud Certified Data Engineer (preferred)
