Data Engineer Miejsce pracy: Kraków Your responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines (ELT/reverse-ETL) connecting a variety of source and target systems Evolve data platform components, treating data products with the same rigor as software products Partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into well-engineered, production-ready solutions Continuously improve platform reliability, performance, and scalability Our requirements Python — Strong, production-level Python skills. You write clean, well-tested, maintainable code. Workflow Orchestration — Hands-on experience with at least one major orchestration framework: Prefect (preferred), Airflow, or Dagster. dbt — Solid working knowledge of dbt: how transformation layers are structured, how a dbt project is organized and maintained. SQL — Confident SQL skills including understanding of stored procedures, schema-level access management, and relational data modeling principles. Containerization — Practical experience with Docker and container-based deployments. CI/CD & Version Control — Comfortable working with GitHub (branching, pull requests, code reviews) and GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tooling. Pipeline Design — Proven track record of building incremental and continuous ELT/ETL pipelines at scale. Infrastructure as Code — Familiarity with IaC principles and tools. Communication — Strong English communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. Optional Experience with dlt (data load tool) for building scalable ingestion layers Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), especially cloud-native data services such as AWS Glue or BigQuery Familiarity with stream processing patterns or near-real-time data architectures Kubernetes experience About Us Were looking for an experienced Senior/Mid Data Engineer to join our growing team in Kraków. In this role, youll be responsible for designing and delivering scalable data solutions for enterprise clients operating across multiple industries. Youll work with modern, open-source tooling and cloud infrastructure to build reliable data pipelines — primarily batch-oriented, with some near-real-time processing scenarios. Youll be part of a tight-knit engineering team focused on delivering tangible business outcomes and high-quality data products.
