Our client is one of the worlds largest food and beverage companies an has its Data Science Hub Europe in Warsaw. As a key step in scaling up our Clients Supply Chain Analytics team, we seek a Data Engineer to drive and support data ingestion, staging, processing and serving using MS Azure services.
- Salary: 100-130 PLN net+VAT/h (B2B)
- Location: remote position (with occasional visits to Warsaww office every 1-2 months)
- Language: communication in English daily

We are looking for someone who brings:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data components (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Blob Storage, SharePoint, Databricks)
- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure (especially ADF)
- Good understanding of Databricks as part of the architecture — understanding how data should flow and be stored in Databricks
- Strong proficiency in version control and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Good understanding of DevOps practices in Data Engineering work
- Familiarity with data governance principles, including cataloging & metadata, data lineage, master data management, security, and compliance
- Familiarity with Python
Additionally, it would be a plus to have:
- Knowledge of Snowflake or at least being open to getting to know it
- Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse as a data source
- Azure Data Engineer or Data Analytics certification
- Understanding of BI tools such as Power BI
- Experience with PySpark or Scala
