We are looking for Data Architect to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that works for a client in the aerospace sector. You will work in an industrial, stable environment in multinational team (France, Poland, India) for a major aeronautical manufacturer. The program involves wide portfolio of applications developed by multiple teams in modern technologies, that e.g., support pilots, crew, and airline in planning the flights or various airport operations.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people who are located in Poland and have EU citizenship.

responsibilities :
Data Solution Architecture: Responsible for designing data architecture. Explain, define and suggest options.
Data Strategy: Translate strategic vision into technology decisions and define migration paths.
Data Modeling: Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models ensuring performance and scalability.
Involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of architecture solutions with business goals and requirements.
Provides retex and data guidelines, leadership and guidance throughout the previous projects.
Commits to producing relevant solutions, checks deliverables, makes decisions, optimizes delivery under their responsibility.
Schedule and animate workshops with main stakeholder.
Define solution, support and follow client to implement data architecture. Present differences between solutions.
Identifies risks for their scope, defines related action plans, and manages difficult situations.
Ensures viability, operability, scalability, security, economic feasibility and the matching of solutions with needs
requirements-expected :
At least 8-12 years of experience in relevant field.
Solution Architect experience with strong knowledge of Data technologies (open source building blocks, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.).
Proven experience in data projects.
Strong knowledge of architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices
Strong leadership and communication abilities, with the capacity to explain architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Good knowledge of performance optimisation and security management techniques.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Good command of agility principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
EU citizenship.
Fluent English: B2/C1.
Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
