Your new role
As a Data Architect, you will take ownership of the architecture and development of a modern data platform that supports both operational processes and digital product development. You’ll lead a team of skilled engineers, design integrations with external systems, and drive the implementation of AI/ML solutions. Your responsibilities will span from high-level architecture to hands-on coding, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and evolving the architecture of the data platform
Leading system integrations and ensuring data quality and governance
Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Managing CI/CD pipelines and release processes
Providing technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews
Supporting operational tasks and continuous improvement initiatives
Documenting work in JIRA and Confluence
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
7+ years of experience in data architecture and processing large datasets
Proven experience as a Technical Lead managing development teams
Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and data processing frameworks
Experience with Datalake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse architectures
Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native data solutions
Understanding of ML/LLM models and their practical applications
Knowledge of data governance and quality standards
Excellent communication and self-organization skills
Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly
Willingness to work from the office 2 days per week
Bonus points for experience in the energy sector, Java/Kotlin, or microservices architecture
