We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Clients behalf for a person in the following role:

Data and Reporting Developer

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborating with data owners, data engineers and business users to define data quality requirements and standards.
2. Developing and automating data quality rules and checks using Google Cloud Platform tools.
3. Investigate data quality findings and propose remediation activities.
4. Perform ad-hoc data quality analysis and impact assessments.
5. Analyse, interpret trends, find patterns in complex data sets.
6. Proactively identify and solve problems.
7. Support assigned projects, including facilitating discussion and monitoring progress.
8. Communicating data quality findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 3 years’ experience of working in data-related role (tech business analyst, data management/modelling, data analyst).
2. Experience with Google Cloud Platform Products (BigQuery, Vertex AI, Looker Studio) or similar.
3. Python is welcome as optional for ad-hoc projects.
4. Advanced analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills.
5. Proven ability to interpret large data sets, articulate complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis/solving.
6. Advanced listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
