Within the Data, Analytics and Insights Product Line in TechOps IT, this role will be dedicated to the Data Analytics product. As a Data Analytics Solution Architect, you will act as a strategic thinker who understands the value of data to the organisation. Your focus will be on delivering high-value solutions, connecting the dots across initiatives, and ensuring scalability and reusability.

You will collaborate with the Product Manager to improve data product design for both existing and new products, while working with cross-functional teams.

Data Analytics Solution Architect

Your responsibilities

• Design and test technical architecture aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with SMEs to identify issues and propose IT solutions.
• Drive the design and development of scalable and high-performance data product architectures.
• Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code and IT documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure organisational efficiency.
• Continuously assess and improve existing IT infrastructure.
• Streamline workflows through innovative technical solutions.
• Engage with stakeholders, providing updates on development progress and costs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to business needs.
• Support the achievement of short- and long-term product outcomes.

Our requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally across products and functions.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data mesh, data warehousing, data platforms, and BI database design (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, Tableau, SQL, Talend, SAC, SAP BO, ASP.net).
• Familiarity with manufacturing IT tools (ERP, MES, LIMS) and processes (Make, Assess, Release).
• Practical knowledge of Agile frameworks/methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills: communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
• Ability to design, recommend, and provide roadmaps for proposed solutions.
• Intellectual curiosity, integrity, and a passion for value-driven technology.
• Capability to work in a matrix environment and switch between products.
• Experience with diagramming, mockup, and UI design tools (e.g., LucidChart, Visio, Balsamiq, Draw.io, Adobe XD).
• Knowledge of Pharma industry standards and drug development processes.
• Understanding of process optimisation and deployment in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with coding languages, operating systems, and databases.
• Experience with various infrastructure platforms.
