The Analytics Engineer will help us build and maintain infrastructure for data and business analytics, financial data visualization, and exploratory data analysis. Responsible for managing data systems and ensuring information accuracy to support business operations and requirements. This position will work with OEC engineers to maintain all the databases safety and security to prevent unauthorized access and potential leaks of confidential data.
responsibilities :
Develop and maintain data infrastructure for analytics here at OEC.
Build pipelines to extract data from primary and secondary sources.
Build and support data visualization for Business and Product needs.
Work with business and tech Product Managers to define reporting and prepare reports to assist with tracking and achieving their goals.
Analyze parts and application data for trends, patterns, errors.
Work with Engineers and Software Developers to identify potential data issues and help fix them.
Build and maintain our data architecture by staging, transforming and finalizing datasets that meet our high standards of quality through out of box & custom testing as well as QA and arere used across the organization.
Develop and document this central source of truth for OEC and assist in our internal digital transformation.
requirements-expected :
You are well-versed in Mathematics and/or Statistics.
You enjoy critical thinking, data-oriented, systematic approaches to solving problems.
You have 5+ years of experience in high-volume data management.
You are proficient with the following: SQL, R, Python, JavaScript, Database Design, Data Models, ETL Frameworks, Data Mining and Segmentation, DBT, AWS Glue, AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery.
You are familiar with Excel.
Other Skills: Data Visualization, Revenue Analysis and Modeling.
You are articulate. Your communication skills are top-notch, both in writing and verbal.
Able to keep track of multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work independently in an environment that expects great things every day.
You pride yourself on being tech-savvy. You learn new processes and software tools quickly.

The position is fully remote, with the requirement to attend quarterly in-person meetings.
