The role leads on the analysis of data requirements in support of the reporting and BI for the ISC program scope including identification of required data sources, integration patterns and data transformation.
The Data Analysts owns and continuously evolves the catalogue of reporting relevant data assets including data lineage to meet the objectives of the ISC program.
With a focus on data quality the Data Analysts guides the data architecture development and inputs into the data technology roadmap definition. Working with PMO and Global IT to oversee the delivery of data architecture and data engineering deliverables of 3rd party services providers as part for the delivery portfolio.
This is a 3-year role in Integrated Supply Chain Programme. Colleagues who have held a Programme role will have developed valuable new skills that will remain in high demand as IB progresses on its transformation journey. We will utilize our P&C talent processes to ensure these employees are actively considered in relevant forums for their return to BAU roles.
Principle Accountabilities:
Works with the Reporting & BI analyst and Global IT Delivery to develop and review Statement of Requirements for data architecture and data pipeline engineering deliverables.
Works with Global IT Delivery to review proposed Solution Design documentation in regards to data architecture and data pipeline engineering deliverables.
The Data Analyst works with the Global IT and the DataHub team on aligning the technology roadmap, to review technical change proposals and to priorities the technical deliverables to improve the data platforms.
Manages and oversees the delivery of data architecture and data engineering deliverables of 3rd party vendors and work alongside the SC excellence team to oversee the delivery of data engineering on the existing GSC data platform.
Works with Global IT Delivery in identification of data sources, data mappings and data quality rules required for DataHub integration into ISC reporting & BI solutions.
requirements-expected :
3-5 years proven experience in DataWarehouse, Data Architecture and Data Engineering delivery
3-5 years of proven experience in Microsoft data platform technologies, Microsoft Office 365 tools and good understanding of PowerBI services
Advanced knowledge in data modeling techniques and tools. Programming language (Python) is a plus.
Experience in data project delivery and stakeholder engagement in matrix organisations
Strong analytical skills and conceptual understanding of Data Platform Architectures inc Analytical MDM, Data Governance, Data Lineage and Data Quality services
