Job Description:

We are looking for you, if you:

1. have Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Management, Econometrics, Computer Sciences, or alike, and/or equivalent
2. have at least 5 years of professional experience within data analysis
3. have working experience in a bank or financial institution
4. have broad knowledge of data management, relational databases, data modelling
5. have hands-on working experience with SQL
6. have hands-on working experience in SAS environment (SAS Enterprise Guide) and 4GL programming
7. are a strong collaborative team player, working within and across multiple virtual teams
8. have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical content to business/functional audiences
9. have a curious and analytical mindset
10. have spoken and written English - C1
11. have experience with credit risk model development and/or validation
12. have knowledge about credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS9, IRRBB)
13. have experience in working with Agile / Scrum
14. have hands-on experience in VBA

Your responsibilities:

1. perform data analytical activities: sources investigation, reports preparation, creation of dashboards, automations
2. identify opportunities to automate and optimize processes
3. perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
4. analyze internal and external regulations
5. prepare functional documentation

Information about the squad:

We are looking for specialists to join the Second Line Model Data team to support data management and model validation processes. We have extensive knowledge of the Banks processes, which enables us to understand and interpret data for the purposes of risk reporting. We work in an international environment, and we use English on a daily basis.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Data Scientist III”.
