The opportunity

We are looking for a top-notch technology savvy specialist willing to move our projects on the new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team, you will participate in international projects based on the latest data technologies and Azure platform.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design and Build Complex Data Solutions: Lead the design and development of complex data solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Utilize Advanced Technology Stack: Implement new solutions using the most advanced technology stack, including BI/ETL technologies (SQL Server Platform, Power BI, Azure, T-SQL) and Big Data technologies (Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Python).
  • Facilitate Design Discussions: Facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with Global Teams: Participate in international projects and collaborate with top leaders in various industries as part of a global team.
  • Ensure Data Management and Security: Ensure strong understanding and implementation of data management concepts, MDM, governance, and security rules when handling data.
  • Create Reliable Solution Plans: Work with business and multi-disciplinary teams to create reliable solution plans, including cost estimation and delivery approaches.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Extensive Experience in Data Architecture: 8+ years of professional, hands-on experience building complex solutions, with at least 4+ years in an Architect role, designing and building complex data solutions.
  • Proficiency with BI/ETL and Big Data Technologies: Hands-on, professional experience with BI/ETL technologies (especially SQL Server Platform, Power BI, Azure, T-SQL) or Big Data technologies (especially Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, Python).
  • Strong Communication and Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate design discussions, communicate architectural decisions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, and spur people to action.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Hands-on Experience with Data Solutions: Demonstrated experience in designing and building complex data solutions, with a focus on both BI/ETL and Big Data technologies.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Proficiency in using technologies such as SQL Server Platform, Power BI, Azure, T-SQL, Hadoop ecosystem, Spark, and Python to create and manage data solutions.
  • Strong Understanding of Data Management: In-depth knowledge of data management concepts, including MDM, governance, and security rules, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Proven Leadership in Architecture: Experience in an Architect role, leading design discussions, making architectural decisions, and guiding teams through the implementation of data solutions.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, facilitating discussions and driving consensus on architectural decisions.
  • Agile Methodologies Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, enabling efficient project management and delivery in a collaborative environment.

What we look for

  • Willingness to travel to the customers locations on a need basis (up to 20-25% of time on average)
  • Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience with data lakes
  • Experience with real-time data processing and data warehousing aggregation
  • Experience with various Azure Cloud products and services.
