Job Overview

We are seeking a self-sufficient and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team, with a focus on data migration projects. The ideal candidate will fully own all data analysis tasks, working closely with Business Analysts and SMEs to gather and interpret client data requirements. They will be skilled in analysing complex datasets, assessing source and target structures, and supporting accurate data mapping and transformation. The role requires a strong ability to ensure data quality, present insights through clear reporting, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong documentation, analytical thinking, and independent delivery are essential.

Your responsibilities:

1. Fully own all data analysis tasks, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely delivery.
2. Gather and interpret client data requirements by engaging with Business Analysts and SMEs.
3. Analyse complex datasets across multiple functions and industries.
4. Review source and target data structures and assess data quality for migration.
5. Support data mapping from source to target systems based on business rules.
6. Ensure data is accurate, consistent and properly formatted for migration.
7. Present findings to senior stakeholders with clear, visual reporting.
8. Build BI reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools to communicate insights.
9. Translate technical data concepts for non-technical audiences.
10. Document data processes, mappings, and logic for clarity, audit and knowledge transfer.
11. Validate data cleansing performed by business users against quality criteria.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience owning end-to-end data analysis and migration tasks
2. Strong ability to gather, interpret, and translate business data requirements
3. Skilled in analysing complex datasets and assessing data quality
4. Proficient in creating clear reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools
5. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
