Project Informations: Industry : banking Location : Gdansk (hybrid: 1 day per week in the office) Rate : up to 170 PLN/H net vat, B2B Project language: English, Polish We are looking for an experienced Data & Test Environment Specialist to collaborate on advanced banking projects, particularly in the Credit Risk domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing customized datasets for functional and edge case validation through synthetic data generation or leveraging existing data via masking techniques. Key Responsibilities: Create and validate tailored datasets for functional and edge case testing. Develop tests and measure test coverage for functional and technical changes. Prepare and develop manual and automated tests. Support the QA team in test data preparation and ensure timely availability of test data for ongoing changes. Required Skills: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including prior experience in banking projects. Expertise in creating synthetic test data and data masking, including PII analysis. Strong knowledge of databases, advanced SQL queries, JOIN operations, data migration, transformations, and ETL in the banking domain. Experience with Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) concepts in data warehousing and developing data quality controls across large datasets. Hands-on experience with technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Oracle DB, and Data Stage. Nice to Have: Experience with Robot Framework and Python would be an added advantage, but the primary focus is on expertise in handling test data and setting up test environments. We are looking for an expert who excels in test data preparation through synthetic or masked data and has strong knowledge of databases and ETL processes.
