As a Junior Delivery Consultant in Data & AI, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best, while working closely with our team of experts in data management and AI tools and technologies to design, develop, and implement innovative automation and analytics solutions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Collaborate with both senior team members and clients to design, develop, and maintain data management, analytics and AI solutions using leading-edge technologies and platforms
Scripting and Coding: Create and maintain automation scripts and code, utilizing tools and programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, React, SQL, Bash and others.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation for automation solutions, including technical specifications, user guides, and maintenance & operations procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs and tailor automation solutions to meet their specific requirements
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest technology trends and developments in the field of automation and actively contribute to the teams knowledge base.
You will focus primarily within one of three Data and AI service practices, associated with a range of IBM technologies including:
Data Fabric: CloudPak for Data, Db2 and Watson Studio
Data governance – IBM Datastage, IBM Knowledge Catalog, IBM Watsonx.data
Data observability – IBM Databand
At IBM Global Delivery Center we’re looking for proactive and growth-minded individuals with strong technical curiosity and the desire for continuous learning and ongoing development of new technology skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling, and influential
B.S. in M.I.S., Business/Communications with a STEM minor, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering.
Hands-on exposure to real-world application of computer science, information systems or engineering concepts for minimum 1-2 years
Linux system administration (bash, processes, users, storage, network), virtualization (vmware, kvm) and application containerization (docker/Kubernetes)
Database management skills and software development or scripting languages (SQL, JavaScript, Python)
Source control management systems (e.g., GitHub)
Cloud platforms and their services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
