We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data & Analytics engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in driving our data projects and ensuring the smooth integration and operation of our data platforms.
responsibilities :
Lead and manage data and analytics projects within the IT department
Design, implement, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, including SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake and Power BI
Analyze data sets to derive insights and support decision-making processes
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company standards and regulations
Collaborate effectively with business partners to understand their requirements and provide suitable data solutions
Development of relationships with customers to understand their needs and priorities, by collecting input from customers and stakeholders; identify and propose process / service / role design improvements geared towards simplification and service level enhancement
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data and analytics
requirements-expected :
College or University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years’ experience in the IT discipline with 1+ of those years in IT Management of Business Solutions/ Application teams (including people management where relevant)
Proven experience in Microsoft Azure technologies: SQL, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake and Power BI
Strong understanding of budgeting and financial planning processes
Analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with business partners
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Past exposure to Agile methodologies
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Fluent verbal and written English
