Dairy

Dairy products have long been a nutritious part of diets worldwide. We keep dairy moving around the world with our supply chain expertise and on‑the‑ground capabilities. Our dairy supply chain and operations span 25 countries across 6 continents, with an estimated 300,000 cows producing the milk needed for our ingredients. Most of our dairy ingredients are sourced from a portfolio of manufacturers and suppliers across North America, South America, Europe and Oceania. We strive to provide solutions for our customers deliver environmental benefits while minimizing industry challenges. For example, our biomass boiler and animal feed, formulated with almond by‑product for dairy cows in New Zealand, exemplify this ambition.

Role Summary

We are seeking a results‑driven Dairy Sales Trader to expand our dairy business in Eastern Europe. In this role, you will develop strategic relationships with key clients, drive revenue growth and deliver innovative dairy solutions tailored to customer needs. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and contribute to the long‑term success of the business. You will report directly to the European Dairy Sales & Operations Director.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing base of clients in Eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Balkans and Baltic States).
  • Reach target sales volumes of dairy products – milk powder, cheese and butter.
  • Create and follow a sales plan to reach targets in Eastern Europe.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to keep the company ahead.
  • Find new customers and maintain good relationships with current ones.
  • Negotiate and close deals that match company goals and customer needs.
  • Work with other teams to ensure products fit market demand.
  • Provide excellent service and advice to clients, helping them achieve business goals.
  • Participate in industry events to promote the company and stay informed about new trends.
  • Track sales results and use data to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Science, Economics, Finance or a similar field.
  • 2–3 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in dairy or food ingredients.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to analyse market data and translate insights into action.
  • Skilled in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in Polish and English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in different teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑changing business environment.
