In PwC Poland’s cybersecurity team, we not only help companies design cybersecurity strategies and monitoring or incident response processes, but we also support them in the implementation of specific security systems. We combine knowledge of business processes and present-day cyber threats with our consultants’ and engineers’ experience derived from the security audits, penetration testing, and operational support services provided to SOC teams.
Your future role:
- Shift work in various variants, depending on the projects: 8/5, 16/7, 24/7.
- Investigation of cybersecurity alerts using advanced detection tools, responding to security incidents.
- Preparing reports on SOC activities.
- Preparing SOC improvement ideas and implementing them in daily operations.
- Developing SOC procedures and use cases.
- Tuning SIEM (parsing, false-positives).
- Preparing post-mortem analysis and tech recommendations after major incidents.
- Working with L3 and major incident teams on major security incidents.
- Supporting L1 SOC team members.
Apply if you have:
- Good command of English and Polish languages, both spoken and written (min. B2).
- Good knowledge of IT and computer networks.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in SOC as L1 or L2 security analysts.
- Very good analytical skills.
- Knowledge of on-prem and public cloud (MS Azure) environments.
- Ability to work in a team, effective communication, and commitment.
