about-project :


  • The job holder is primarily responsible for ServiceNow Product for Cybersecurity. This includes architecture oversight and governance across the ServiceNow Modules -ITSM, ITBM, Performance Analytics, CMDB, Business Portfolio, Knowledge Management, Continuous Improvement, Resource / Service Cost Management & Financial Services, various workflows that the application is comprised of and platform, which is built on the ServiceNow product.
  • The role is expected to design and implement the modules, complex workflows for cybersecurity and provide necessary technical support to team to ensure deliverables confirming to architecture & quality standards. Acts as cybersecurity technical point of contact for Service Now implementations and as the technical architect works closely with the business partners to understand the requirements and translate them to work deliverables from the team members.

responsibilities :


  • Work with Central HSBC Product Owners, Service Owners on platform benefits, capabilities, and high-level solution design to ensure product activates are aligned to wider strategic objectives. Manage the licensing, audits compliance, manages the ServiceNow relationship.
  • Design components using appropriate modelling techniques following agreed architectures, design standards, patterns, and methodology. Identify and evaluate alternative design options and trade-offs.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of development projects, ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures, standards, methods, and procedures (including secure software development). Provide reports on progress, anomalies, risks, and issues associated with the overall product / modules & workflows. Report on system quality and provides specialist advice to support others.
  • Create multiple design views to address the concerns of the different stakeholders of the architecture and to handle both functional and non-functional requirements. Model, simulate, or prototype the behaviour of proposed systems components to enable approval by stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the wider HSBC Architecture community to ensure consistency in approach and adherence to architecture governance across the division.
  • Design, code, verify, test, document, amend, and refactor complex programs/scripts and integration software services.
  • Design Working Group to review and approve designs, any customisation of the ServiceNow platform is minimised.
  • Manage user experience evaluation of systems, products, or services, to assure that the usability and accessibility requirements have been met, required practice has been followed, and systems in use continue to meet organisational and user needs.
  • Provide planning, direction and support for new releases and deployments, leading the development / transformation pipeline.

requirements-expected :


  • At least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow applications. Deep knowledge of ServiceNow solutions, including CSM product.
  • Experience of architecting in an enterprise environment with multiple integration points.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of ServiceNow solutions. Experience in architecting and deploying large-scale ServiceNow implementations.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with users, stakeholders, and team members. Ability to work independently and take ownership of architecture function.
  • Ability to transform Business Requirement into Business Process, End to End experience of ServiceNow-based application design and implementation.
  • Experience with web technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.).
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA).
