Senior Cyber Security DLP Analyst

Location & Work Model: Hybrid – 6 days per month from the office in Kraków (preferred) or Warsaw
Contract Type: B2B

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cyber Security DLP Analyst to join a global cybersecurity technology and engineering team. The role focuses on Data Loss Prevention (DLP), data protection, and security governance. You will help design, implement, and maintain DLP controls that protect sensitive information, ensure compliance with security standards, and support secure business operations in a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on, customer-focused role that requires strong technical expertise in DLP technologies, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to operate independently in a complex global environment.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with strong focus on DLP technologies
  • Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, McAfee CASB, Microsoft Information Protection (MIP)
  • Proven experience securing data in motion and data at rest
  • Experience in DLP policy creation, tuning, recertification, testing, and deployment
  • Knowledge of whitelist management and policy governance
  • Strong experience in test planning and execution; familiarity with test automation is a plus
  • Experience working in regulated environments, ideally within financial services
  • Solid understanding of data security, privacy, and anonymization practices
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to present complex technical topics to diverse audiences
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and make sound, auditable decisions
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is an advantage
  • Formal education in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
