About the project

YOUR ROLE

As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical implementation of security measures in an AWS cloud environment. You will work closely with architects, developers and operations teams to implement and continuously improve secure solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementation and operation of AWS security services (IAM, Security Hub, WAF, KMS, CloudTrail, AWS Config).
  • Develop and maintain security policies and automations (e.g., using Python and IaC tools such as AWS CDK).
  • Perform security hardening for AWS accounts, services, and workloads.
  • Integration of identity and access management solutions (AWS IAM, Identity Center, SAML).
  • Support with incident response and security monitoring.
  • Development of logging and monitoring solutions (CloudTrail, ...).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for automated deployments and testing.

Our requirements

  • AWS experience (minimum 2-3 years) with a focus on security and automation.
  • DevOps expertise and Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably AWS CDK.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and automated deployment/testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Linux and Git.
  • Deep knowledge of IAM and AWS security services.
  • Familiar with services such as:
  • AWS IAM, Identity Center, Keycloak
  • AWS Security Hub, WAF, KMS, CloudTrail
  • AWS Organizations, Control Tower
  • AWS Config, Policies, SCPs, ABAC
  • Ability to implement technical security solutions in practice.
  • Analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented way of working and good communication skills.

Optional

  • Experience with SIEM integration (e.g., Splunk).
  • Knowledge of automated compliance and security audits.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP.
