Cybersecurity Engineer
Your responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and respond to reported phishing attempts, validating their authenticity and assessing potential risks.
- Identify recurring phishing techniques and tactics to enhance threat detection capabilities.
- Create detailed reports of phishing incidents, outlining the nature of the threat, systems affected, and actions taken.
- Work in close coordination with internal security teams to exchange intelligence and strengthen overall defense strategies.
- Provide actionable recommendations to refine phishing detection and prevention workflows.
- Monitor the evolving landscape of cyber threats, with a focus on phishing trends, to ensure timely and effective responses.
Our requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial experience
- Practical experience or formal training in IT security monitoring, cyber threat detection, and phishing analysis.
- Familiarity with analyzing and interpreting data from Security Operations Center (SOC) systems, including incident triage, escalation procedures, and minimizing false positives.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a service-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of key Internet protocols such as SMTP, HTTP, and DNS.
- Proactive attitude towards learning new technologies, supported by ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence, hunting techniques, and leveraging external threat feeds for proactive defense.
