The role of a Privileged Access (PA) Subject Matter Expert (SME) is to assist the PA Control Owner in evaluating and reporting on the compliance status of the organizations IT estate with respect to Privileged Access policies, standards, and operational risk controls.
responsibilities :
Develop, implement, and maintain authentication control policies and procedures to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
Monitor authentication control activities for compliance and report findings using KCIs.
Collaborate as theSME with cross-functional teams, including Cybersecurity, IT, and business units, to align authentication control strategies with organizational goals and requirements.
Manage the authentication control lifecycle, including the generation, distribution, storage, use, and destruction of authentication credentials.
Stay current on industry trends and advancements in authentication controls, identifying opportunities for enhancement, automation, and innovation. Conduct a thorough scan of internal/external regulatory and audit requirements for the IAM function concerning authentication controls, ensuring policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
Develop and deliver training and awareness programs to educate stakeholders on authentication control practices and responsibilities.
requirements-expected :
5+ experience in operational Privileged Access Management (preffer the financial services sector) including tasks such as privileged access identification, vaulting, usage monitoring, and the creation and execution of operational processes and procedures.
Strong technical expertise in systems such as Mainframe, UNIX, and Databases.
Experience in supporting Identity and Access Management change initiatives to ensure successful control outcomes.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to make timely, well-informed decisions based on relevant data.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
