Cybersecurity Automation Engineer
Location: Kraków (hybrid model – 6 days per month onsite)
Contract type: B2B
Rate: 200–220 PLN/h
Role overview:
We are looking for an engineer with strong skills in automation, system integration, and software development to join the Cybersecurity Core Engineering team. The role combines Python development, infrastructure automation, API integrations, and work with modern containerized environments. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering end‑to‑end solutions that support cybersecurity products, data flows, and user interaction.
The position sits at the intersection of software engineering, DevOps, and cybersecurity, offering significant opportunities for technical growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and developing automation solutions for infrastructure and web/application platforms.
- Building integrations between cybersecurity products using APIs, data pipelines, and UI components.
- Participating in scoping, planning, and prioritizing engineering work.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across DEV, UAT, PROD, and DR environments.
- Collaborating with platform teams, SMEs, and business stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Supporting knowledge sharing and technical development within the group.

- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and web development.
- Experience in cybersecurity, software development, or operations environments.
- Ability to work with Linux, Windows, or UNIX systems and containerized environments.
- Full‑stack engineering experience, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with UI/UX tools such as Figma or wireframing is a plus.
- Knowledge of API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, REST, SOAP, and JSON.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
- Working knowledge of databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Background in roles such as Systems Engineer, Application Support, or Developer.
- Strong communication skills and a growth‑oriented mindset.
