Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements, including cybersecurity-related reviews, threat modeling, and evaluations of third-party vendor solutions for approval.
  • Create and maintain the cybersecurity system architecture and Product Development Document, while providing technical expertise throughout the software, hardware, and manufacturing development process.
  • Research and implement advanced software security technologies applicable to automotive systems, including developing prototypes and demos to address vulnerabilities in hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Identify and leverage embedded platforms and operating systems to design innovative cybersecurity solutions for future automotive system deployments.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity evaluations and assessments, guiding product teams in integrating new cybersecurity system designs and validation methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with strong experience in C programming and low-level development for embedded systems.
  • Solid knowledge of embedded systems development, including networking, cryptography, resource management, and designing customizations, as well as experience in security incident handling and threat management.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity engineering, including identifying threat vectors, conducting threat analysis and risk assessments, and working with change management tools like JIRA.
  • Preferred qualifications include knowledge of standards such as ISO 21434 and UNECE WP29, relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GDSA), and experience with automotive communication systems (CAN, CAN-FD, automotive Ethernet).
  • Experience with advanced security technologies such as HSM, ARM Trust Zone, TEE, and hardware/software interface design (e.g., device drivers, BSPs), along with familiarity with Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, and AUTOSAR-compliant platforms.
