We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our IT security team. This role focuses on protecting our digital assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and implementing best-in-class security practices across the organization.
The right candidate will have proven hands-on experience with Microsoft security solutions, strong knowledge of network and infrastructure security, and the ability to define, implement, and maintain security policies.
responsibilities :
Designing, implementing, and maintaining IT security policies across Microsoft environments.
Managing and securing Office365, Active Directory, Exchange, Intune, Purview, Entra, and Defender environments.
Configuring and monitoring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, and Identity for proactive threat defense.
Performing incident response and investigation of security alerts raised by Microsoft Defender and SIEM tools.
Leveraging advanced threat analytics and automation in Defender to strengthen detection and response capabilities.
Monitoring and improving security posture through internal scans, vulnerability management, and threat detection.
Leading initiatives for data security, DLP configuration, and device hardening.
Supporting compliance with NIS2, GDPR, PCI DSS, and other regulatory frameworks.
Collaborating with IT operations to ensure secure network configuration (VLANs, VPNs, MFA).
Conducting security awareness training and promoting best practices within the organization.
Proactively recommending improvements to strengthen cybersecurity maturity.
requirements-expected :
Proven experience (3+ years) in cybersecurity roles, preferably in enterprise environments.
Expertise in Microsoft Office365 security solutions (Entra, Purview, Intune, Exchange).
Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration and policy implementation.
Experience with Microsoft Defender and security monitoring solutions.
Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data security policies.
Practical knowledge of network configuration, VLANs, VPNs, MFA, device hardening.
Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as NIS2, GDPR, PCI DSS.
Experience with vulnerability assessments, internal security scans, and remediation.
Ability to collaborate with IT, legal, and business stakeholders to ensure compliance and risk management.
Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and continuous learning attitude.
