Customs Classification Specialist
Job Description
In this role you will be:
- Correcting customs classification of all relevant Philips materials
- Maintaining customs classification data in the appropriate databases (mainly SAP GTS)
- Advising the customs clearing operation on ad hoc customs classification topics
- Key contact for any Philips stakeholder on customs classifications
- Identifying and reporting classification issues which can lead to incompliance
- Being a backup for the master data support foreign trade
Youre the right fit if:
- You have a bachelor’s degree (preferably an engineering degree)
- You have previous experience within customs classification, trade compliance or a similar department
- You have fluent English
- You have experience in working with MS office applications
- You have accuracy and ability to work as a part of a team
- You have excellent communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
