We are currently seeking a senior specialist in customs operations to coordinate customs activities for Hitachi Energys business units.**How Youll Make an Impact:*** Coordinate customs operations (import/export), check shipping documentation to ensure trade compliance, and prepare monthly reports.* Take responsibility for cooperating with internal and external parties to ensure that customs-related payments are issued promptly.* Stay in touch with customers to receive and provide information.* Check shipping documentation to ensure trade compliance.* Seek savings opportunities* Prepare GTS in the SAP system for Customs Agencies according to internal regulations* Prepare monthly reports,* Take responsibility for cooperating with internal and external parties to ensure that customs-related payments are issued on time.* Guide the business units, external partners and team members with their knowledge and experience in the Customs and Trade area.**Your Background:*** Min 5 years of experience in Customs or Trade area* Knowledge in Customs Law and Regulations (HS codes, Incoterms, customs procedures: free trade, IPR, OPR, etc) is a must;* English language at least B2 level;* Experience with SAP GTS will be an advantage* Well-communicating and organisational skills* Take care of details* Field of study: SCM/logistics - nice to have* Experience in a Customer Service job will be an advantageWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
