PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Strategic role in building category value growth with Sales team and external customers
- Strengthen strategic bets in our customers via fact-based stories
- Close cooperation with key and international FMCG chains in Poland (Kaufland, Dino, Carrefour, Stokrotka, Auchan, Intermarche, Spar, Leclerc)
- Category management and sales space projects with Coca Cola HBC clients (including: defining beverage category definitions, strategies and tactical action plans and are responsible for their implementation together with the Key Account Manager)
- Provide quantitative and qualitative category assessment and communicate key findings to Key Account Managers and Coca Cola HBC clients
- Cooperation with Group Key Account Managers / Group structures in developing and implementing the category business plan at Coca Cola HBC clients
- Observe market trends, execute market tests and apply this knowledge to the category management process
- Initiating changes and innovations in the field of category management and sales space
- Creating success images for each sales channel including recommendations for assortment, shelf, coolers and displays
- Taking part in the preparation of new product launch strategies by preparing recommendations for sales channel selection, estimating potential volumes and activations at the store level
- Developing presentations to support the introduction of key initiatives (so-called "selling stories")
- Taking part in the preparation of RGM initiatives by preparing recommendations, potential volume estimation or executional strategy for the initiative
- University degree (major in economics or finance)
- Min. 4 years of experience in category management and analytical department in a FMCG company in specialized positions
- Experience in delivering Category Management project to retail Customers (Category captaincy)
- Experience working with data and strong analytical and presentation skills
- Knowledge of tools (NIQ, YouGov)
- Ability to argue with the status quo
- Proactive approach to ongoing projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships in a demanding professional environment
- Very good knowledge of English
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, analytical software)
