Role Responsibilities

  • Act as the day‑to‑day contact for EAME customers and agents, ensuring professional and timely communication.
  • Manage the full quotation‑to‑delivery cycle, including order processing in SAP and invoice creation.
  • Prepare and verify export documentation for smooth customs clearance, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal standards.
  • Handle complex payment terms and methods (e.g., Letters of Credit, Cash Against Documents, Open Terms), including coordination with banks and managing documentation flow.
  • Monitor and follow up on Bills of Lading, amendments, and certifications.
  • Work closely with agents acting as cultural intermediaries, ensuring accurate communication and smooth transactions.
  • Coordinate logistics for intermodal transport, including deep‑sea shipments and timing‑sensitive deliveries.
  • Use CargoX and other platforms to upload and manage documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and agents, proactively managing expectations and resolving issues.
  • Provide backup support during holidays or peak periods, including occasional work on local or bank holidays.

Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Logistics, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • Several years in export operations, customer service, or international order processing, with specific experience in Egypt and Arabic‑speaking markets strongly preferred.
  • Fluent English required; French or another EAME language is a plus.
  • Proficient in SAP and Excel.
  • Familiarity with CargoX is a strong plus.
  • Deep understanding of export documentation, insurance practices, and international payment terms.
  • Experience with Letters of Credit and bank documentation processes.
